Personal Experience
Victoria Padula is an associate attorney at Thav, Ryke & Langan, PLLC, where she focuses her practice on complex probate, trust, fiduciary, and business litigation. She represents individuals, fiduciaries, and beneficiaries in high-conflict disputes involving trusts and estates, contested fiduciary conduct, real property, and closely held business interests.
Victoria is known for her thorough preparation, strong courtroom advocacy, and ability to distill complex factual and legal issues into clear, persuasive arguments. She regularly appears in probate and circuit courts throughout Michigan and has experience litigating matters in both state and federal courts, including appeals.
Before joining Thav, Ryke & Langan, Victoria practiced civil and municipal litigation at a metro-Detroit litigation firm, where she defended municipalities and businesses in complex state and federal matters, including jury trials and appeals. She also gained early courtroom experience as a student advocate and law clerk in both criminal and civil matters.
Victoria lives in downtown Detroit and enjoys golfing, volunteering, and attending Detroit sporting
events.
Victoria graduated from Michigan State University with a B.A. in Political Science, French Minor, and earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law. During law school, Ms. Padula was a Senior Member of the Moot Court Advocacy Program wherein she earned the Best Brief Award and was selected to compete in the William E. McGee National Civil Rights Competition. Ms. Padula’s practice areas focus in civil litigation, business litigation, probate administration, wills, trusts, conservatorships and guardianships. Ms. Padula is additionally licensed to practice in the United Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit and Federal District Court of the Eastern District of Michigan. She has been recognized as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers for 2025, an honor given to top-rated attorneys who have met stringent selection criteria.
