Jasmine Truley

Jasmine Truley is a recent law school graduate from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law and is currently pending admission to the Michigan Bar. She received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of California of Los Angeles, in her hometown, where she majored in Philosophy with a minor in Gender Studies.

Prior to attending law school, she lived in Spain, working as a teacher—an experience that deepened her interest in cross-cultural engagement and fostered a lasting passion for travel. During law school, she was a recipient of the Michigan Justice Kyra Bolden Scholarship and Fall 2024 Book Awards, distinctions awarded for high scholastic achievement. Her academic background and international experience inform her thoughtful, global perspective on the law. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, reading, and practicing sign language.
